|
|
Hi, I've got a little ram question. I was wondering if theyrs another way to see which kind of ram your computer uses then opening your pc and checking your ram card. I searched control pannel, but found nothing.
I just want to know which kind of ram my pentium 3 uses, probably the computer store in my village has some cheap old ones...
Thanks for reading ^^

Very easy!
Go to www.crucial.com
run their scan, they will tell you everything!
Edit: this is how I bought the correct type of RAM for my computer. They also sell RAM on this site, and when they finish scanning, they give you a link on what to buy.
2nd Edit: I bought 1.5 GB of ram for $25

Does your computer have 1 or 2 ram slots, and if so, are they both being used?
Edit: If your maximum is 1024 MB, than i'm not sure what to do
There probably is something you can do though.

Take whichever one you want out and replace it with whatever you bought. The scan should have told you like the MAXXX amount you can hold, total in your computer, and not in the slots.
Tell me how much total it can hold.

How can his browser possibly be better than internet explorer OR Firefox?
His browser was made in Visual Studio 2005 (Or newer) and the browser component IS internet explorer without the whole window, it is simply a stripped down version. And Firefox is better than IE, so rules that out.

Thats your opinion, and his is his. Don't hijack his thread simply because you don't agree.
Thats a useful link, Andrew. Thanks.

If it's a P3 it uses 168-pin SDR memory.
