I randomly hear this weird noise sometimes when I run my computer. It only happens when my computer is working really hard.

The sound is very loud and at first it was disturbing. But I'm used to it. Does anyone know what the problem is?

I haven't tried to overclock it or anything.

It's probably just your Hard Drive being used as extra RAM. Sure it is the CPU? And I mean absolutely sure? =P

Oh same here yeah it sounds like a load grunting Noise, and it does it twice. yeah my old computer used to do that, That just means its old, or you have it running to hard! Wink

I'm gonna go with saviourfamily on this one, it sounds like you're low on RAM and the hard drive is being used as virtual memory. That's really the only thing that would make more noise as PC load increases.

hm...if your using AVI (anti virus) then it means your doing one of those stupid daily scans, they make my Comp noisey aswell..
