Iv currently did a system recover. But this time iv noticed that it went very fast. i Did system recovers before and it wasnt this fast. Anyways when it booted up it opens fine but instead of loading windows it has a error message with a blackbackground saying this.

Or corrupt:
<windows root>\system 32 \ hal.dll
Please re-install a copy of the above file.

Thats all it says my desktop wont show or anything

Damn, that's pretty bad.
I had to reinstall whole windows again because of that error.

Stick in your Windows CD, and choose repair.

or get linux
or boot from CD -> download hal.dll -> copy to direction

i cant replace it since i cant even acces my destop it freezes at that mesg.

SaviourFamily so if i just use a system recover disk it will fix my prob right?. Well i my self dont have a working disk. but my friend has one so can i use his?

Prob fix. i found a old Boot disk poped it in and Bam fixed =D . Ty everyone for all your time =D

Didn't wallflower post a virus that deleted that file in Maple Story forum? There was a fix there, go search it. :]
