Drive D?
Is it one HD partitioned into two?
If so, that wasn't smart.
You had to set one of the partitions as active to do it, while hiding the other one.
Computer won't recognize both of em, you need to set one path for it to follow.
Simply put in your disk again and delete both partitions. Then format the raw to NTFS and let it install
If you try this again, I suggest using Partition Magic+Boot Magic.
Just make a new partition as FAT32 and set it as active, then install boot magic in your 2nd side.
At least, thats what I do.

some viruses will corrupt your drivers making something called a dummy driver in which if left on your computer long enough it will spread and corrupt your files so if you have like a p drive or a z drive. its mostly the out put files.
