Around 6-7 hours ago, all media players, as well as video players, stopped all video and audio output. A blank white screen would be displayed for the length of the song/movie.
No recent codecs have been installed, drivers are doing fine, and DxDialog reports no faults.
I could provide information on request, as I would like to solve this problem soon.

On a side note, he can not system restore, he had it disabled.

He got it fixed. Valr helped him, re-installing video and audio drivers worked.
