Cut short because this is what is:
Downloaded non steam CS1.6+bots
Works, super fun(hard to hack, i only got unlimited ammo to work, and even that is a fucking pointer.)

I freeze, so i do a manual shutdown
5min to boot laptop.....
login, welcome music is butchered
slow and shit

so im guessing CS is doing it, but how come?

Probably using too much of your CPU to function, also, I don't recommend a force shut down while your computer is writing data or reading data from your HD. It can cause problems. Try to Ctrl+Alt+Del, click processes and find the CS process, then right-click it and set the priority to below normal if you can. It'll give the game slower response time, but your computer may not freeze.
