1. make shure bios is set to boot from cd.
2. restart computer and insert windows xp cd.
3.shut down your comp, let it load and there should be a black screen which says press any key to boot from cd. (press anything quik b4 it boots to windows)
4.Reformat you hard disk.
5. select were to install windows xp.
6.wait till it finishes.
7. Do windows update and install all updates, restart computer and repeat this step till no more updates are displayed.
8. Download Driver magician from www.warez-bb.org or something and update it and download all the needed drivers.

Enjoy you fresh fast windows xp.

Dont forget your antivirus ( i use NOD32 the 2.7 version. and COMODO firewall(google it).

Forgot to add.. make shure to download the driver for you network card (XP one) and save it to a usb stick so you can install it and connect to the internet after you install xp.
