Ordering: varies upon website/store.
Assembling: might finish in 1 day, might take several days or even weeks if something's messed up.

Depends on the type of machine. On a cheapo build, 30 minutes tops, not including OS install of course. On most machines though, I take quite a bit of time making sure wires are neat etc.

It would be safer to, but what are the chances of getting electocuted while building your computer?

It's more for the protection of the parts. Tiniest shock completely ruins that part sometimes.
Just touch something metal before you begin to assemble it and remove parts and such and you'll be fine.

Agreed, I have built several for my self and others.
Depends on how neat you want the guts to be and what your putting in the case.

Well like everyone says its depends
How much shit you have like a basic build..
Or if you have tons of drives and if you underestimate and like forget some cables
Otherwise if I have everything it shouldn't take much more than an hour
