When I attach a process to halo 2, it crashes a few seconds later.
Anyway to stop this? I'm still relatively new to game training so the answer might be sitting in front of me.
PS: Could it be because I'm running halo 2 through the XP Loader?

Sorry to say your wrong. 
I already got infinite ammo for it, I just had to be quick before it crashed, I can now enable infinite ammo at the click of a button, problem is I need time to test things, I don't want to keep nabbing as much as I can before it crashes.

I don't, I have completed it on legendary twice on xbox, same goes for Halo 1.
But yeah, your post was SO helpful to this thread. thanks. 
EDIT: What are you even doing on a forum that talks about cheating if you call people shit for using them?

Your welcome. That's just a little taste of the Random Spam section for you. XD If you really need help on it, get some FAQs, I never needed one for the Halo series, (except for number 1, It was the first part, I was young!) But it helps people going through legendary mode. Hax for Halo aren't the way to go!

| I only cheat on games after i've completed them at least once, it destroys the fun of the game if you cheat on it when you haven't even finished it.

nope its crashing cos its got anti-cheat checks,
the guys here have some trainers but you need the to make sure you got the right patches

I did it for the lulz.
Anyway back on topic, I thought it would be cheat protection. I started learning how to game train because I want to make my own trainers for personal use.
What's the point of learning how to train games if you just download someone else's trainer, so does anyone know how to bypass this cheat protection at all?
edit: Also it was that site and page that got me interested in training, I believe paying for cheats is wrong.

well the trainer was there and the one I used was free, scroll down a bit and they got free versions,
as for finding it yourself, you can try finding your address then without changing or freezing it put a "find out what accesses this address" breakpoint on it,
and hope the anti-cheat dont crash the game before the debugger finds the crash code address,
the other way would be to dead list it so the anti-cheat stuff aint working,
you could use the more advanced debug options in the memview window to freeze and catch the code in cheat engine or ollydbg,
good luck with your cracking lol

I can understand them being upset about kfc being closed though... and at least they are not flashing

in settings->extra enable "use kernelmode debugging when possible"
then you can use "find what accesses and writes" without attaching a normal debugger. (So normal anti-debug tricks don't work)
Also, if that doesn't work compile the latest cvs and boot up your system with http://www.cheatengine.org/dbvm.rar (Intel cpu's with intel VT tech only) and use that option.
