Intel Dual Core E2160 1.8GHz - Around 90 USD
Seems like a cheap peice of junk that no one would use in their box right?
Or does it look like an Overclockers dream!?
The E2160 can overclock to almost twice its speed (3.2GHz)! Very nice for a 90 dollar CPU!
I'm getting it for my budget build.
Discusse? Would you use it?

I personally have an Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 and gotta say, I love it. Preforms very very well, keeps up with my every day needs and so far has yet to have an issue with anything I throw at it.
The only downside I see to this processor is having only 1MB L2 cache.
Seen here:
http://www.intel.com/products/processor_number/chart/pentium_dual-core.htm
All in all, looks nice for its price, and the speeds you said it can obtain from over-clocking are nice. One thing I suggest is buying a new heatsink and proc fan when you get this, if you do. Over clocking something like this is going to need some extra help.

lol liquid nitrogen, that's going to extremes, and it's called a cooling device not a fan lol.

Much cooler than that. Not to mention you would need to build some sort of cooling pipe thing, and probably have a license, not to mention it's going to be EXPENSIVE!
It also freezes somewhere in the low 200's. SCIENCE!

QFT
Yes it is a very good chip for the money, I have my E2140 at 3.11GHz on air, so you should be able to push yours even farther because of the higher multi.
The small cache doesn't hold it back that much, like 3-5% at most in any program compared to a 2meg cache model.

If you are really going with LN2, which I don't think you are, you should consider getting the QX9650, say hi to 6GHz.

-196C/-321F actually.
if you want to set a new world record, you would have to go to 5,3ghz

It does mean something, when you are benchmarking.
