If im downgrading from Vista to XP, and I have the CD, but no CD-Key, and i call in do you think they would supply me with one, or is there a generator to supply me with a new Key?

Sounds "nooby" but vista is pissing me off....

I'd just download a volume version of XP that has automated CDKEY

built in, which u can update too;;

tweaked version might be nice

Try looking on your actual computer, there should be a sticker or something.
Oh wait, you bought the computer with vista?
I'm kinda confuzzled but if thats the case then try getting a keygen or something.

You can pick up XP keys from 'crackspider' (google it). Check what version of XP you have (Home/Pro Ori, SP2?) and its relatively easy to get a key from that site. By the way, also be sure to check if your hard drives are on Serial ATA or Parallel; the reason is mainly because though Vista comes with SATA drivers for the initial install, XP doesn't and you'll end up having to load them from a floppy by hitting F6 at the startup - you'll get a 'setup can't detect any hard drives' error. I bought a laptop which came with Vista and was running on a SATA HDD and had to slip stream the SATA drivers into the XP install disc using n-lite in the end.
