Before you post here looking for help about installing I reccommend you check the system requirements.
Example.
Lets say I want to install Paint.net but I'm having trouble because it won let me install it, so instead of posting here I take a look at its system requirements.
Ok now I know it says it needs 782 mb (Megabytes) of space but how do I know if I have that much space or not?
Say I have two hard drives but I want to install it to C:\Documents and settings\User\Shared Documents\config\
Just an example but in shorter words I want to install it to Drive C:
So to check if I have enough space I go to My Computer -> Right click on C: -> Select properties
You should see something similar to the below picture

Agreed... But the whole topic is kinda spammy tho, during install if you dont have the room the OS will let you know you cant install it lol.
But with todays size of drives i dont think thats an issue as much anyways.

I edited my post, and yeah it does have alot of spam, time to stop talking and start editing
Todays drive sizes are big but with my forum experience I've seen more than 40 threads beggig for that kind of help and spamming the whole forum

Awsome. I recon this should be stickied. it made me find i have 2 hard drives that add up to 171GB memory. Now i can install sims again whoopie!
