hey the system im on is less than that and its fine for me... im using amd though, since their lower range dual cores are cheaper, and i have a 8500gt, 320 gb hd, etc... it was all for about 400ish.

fyi; you need a box to put all of that in Laughing

edit:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103759
its a 2.6ghz amd dual core, i'll probably be getting this when i upgrade my computer along with a new video card.

Looks good, and will handle WoW no problem of course, but I'd recommend replacing that 7600gt with a x1950pro, it will be quite a bit faster and you can find them open box on Newegg for about $99, upgrading to that card would also make you able to play most any game you want on decent settings(other than Crysis Sad )

A bigger hard drive.. just 320-500gigs ..
you will hate yourself in 5-6 month when the 250gigs is filled.
i got a machine with 320gigs a little over a year ago, and i have already stuffed a 500gb disk extra...
don't run out of hard disk space, that sucks big time.

Then you dont have to wonder what music, programs or movies you have to delete.
Just get it all and keep the install files. Wink

If he's getting a small drive, he obviously has small storage needs, he said it's mainly for WoW so he doesn't need much, and 250 is plenty for most. While I myself have close to 2TB of data, my sister gets by with a 40gig hard drive no problem. If a 250 is enough for him now, and he does end up having larger storage needs 6 months down the road, there will be bigger drives for cheaper, so it's a win win situation for him to get a small drive now and upgrade later if necessary.
