Should I just buy a Radeon 2600PRO or a Radeon HD2900PRO? As my motherboard doesn't have PCI-E slots and only have AGP slots, should I risk buying a new motherboard and transferring everything over just for PCI-E slots or just stick with the AGP video cards? Specification on my motherboard is on this site : http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Products/ProductsDetail.aspx?detailid=505&DetailName=Specification&MenuID=52&LanID=0

How long do you plan on keeping this system? If you plan to keep it for a couple years, go for the 2900pro. If you'll be upgrading in the near future, just go for the 2600pro. Remember since it's AGP, a new system you get won't support it so you'll have to get a new one anyway.

I plan to only keep this computer for around 1 month? The computer was bought during 2000 I think. I need to retire this computer. If I upgrade the video card, I might retire it later.

If you're going to upgrade that soon, it'd be a waste to get a new video card that you won't be able to use a month from now. I'd hold off on the video card until you get a new machine.

I would upgrade to a motherboard with PCI-E slots if I had the money. You can install better video cards and it won't be obsolete in the short future.
