| Crysis is the bane of all video cards right now.

You will handle it, just not all settings will be on very high. No configuration at the moment can run Crysis at very high settings.

well it should be enough,
not got the game but I think I seen the min specs is well below that,
anyway if you get probs in the game just turn down the screen resolution till it handles ok,
I have even dropped the color depth to 16 bit instead of 32 bit in games before now to improve the playability with older cards,
any game forum will have all sorts of tweaks to get the game running smoothly rather than relying on the default optimum settings,
I tend to go for speed settings rather than extra nice visuals that slow the game down when I played online games,

Yes. Although the new 8800GTS will run them even better :D

Of course, there's nothing special about WoW graphics.
@me, Their recommended requirements made me smile, there's no configuration that can run Crysis on Very-High settings.

yes well its true in most games its a trade off between the highest settings and playability,
you can run a game at maximum setting and just be pissed off with all the lag and judder,
great for an online shooter,
or you can lower them just enough to make the game enjoyable but still look ok,
I think the programmers could mabe optimize the game code a bit in the future,
crysis is still a young game,
a few patches down the road and it will run better, it will have too or potential sales will be hit if people think its a pain,
but your right max settings will cause problems

TF2 will run cranked perfectly for sure.
As will Bioshock and pretty much any Unreal Engine 3 game.
WoW has nothing on the 8800gt.
Crysis on very high settings is another story, but it will probably run fine at medium/high.

It should run all of those on high settings, except Crysis.
Before you think about going SLI though, make sure your board supports it, and if you're running anything under 1600x1200 SLi is fairly inefficient and not worth it in most cases.
I think you'll be fine with just one GT though.
