|

Ok... I'm not sure if this goes in this section but here we go.
A few..well 5 days ago my Msn started acting completely poopy
and my friend said i sent him a trojan and he blocked me.
after i talked to him at school it seems that i was sending random messages and file attachments like eg."ok.. i do not like my new hair colour" and stuff while it does not appear on my own screen ..
After i went for a virus search.. found three..deleted two..the last one didnt let me delete (btw the scan detected it as a "invalid plugin" or something)
so can someone tell me how to get rid of it and if its the plugin can someone tell me how to delete it? |

just a suggestion for the future, You may need a better virus program as i think that could of been a hacker, someone who got your ip and your password or a trojan horse. Just make sure your well protected (i have avira antivir personaledition classic, its rubbish but it does a good job with ZoneAlarm and Windows spyware whatcha call it). _________________

| One trick I use if it won't let you delete the virus, rename it to something different, then restart. Now when you restart the program can't open because it's looking for a different name, and you can delete it, works almost every time. |

If the file is already in use, it may not let you rename it. _________________

Usually there's more than one file associated with the virus. A lot of times I've seen an exe and one or two separate dll's, you rename the dll's, restart and the exe won't start, then you can delete it too. I've cleaned hundreds of machines with that method. |

QFT, or as I always say, common sense is the best AV but close enough. I've downloaded over 10TB of data, no viruses yet... |
