i try to find out what accesses to an address, and ce crashes. it happens only in a little range of addresses, i can use that feture with no problems on other addresses.
i'm running win xp home sp2, cheatengine latest version, the executable debugged is wa.exe (worms armageddon, latest version)

make sure you're using debug registers instead of access violations.

and if that's not it, try going to settings->extra and enable kernelmode debugging

thx i'll try. but I wrote wrong in the first post: it isnt cheatengine that crashes, but wa.exe


what you suggested does not work
