Cheat Engine

I m trying to find the Base pointer of Force Commander in Battlefield 2(I know the static base pointer but I want to find it by myself). It is a multilevel pointer. I Read some Tutorials for dma hacks but they all use softice…and now with new Microsoft updates softice doesn’t work. The best program for me to find multilvl pointers is Cheatengine. I read all tutotrials for multilvl pointers and i can easy find multilevel pointers for other games.But when I m trying to find the second lvl pointer for force commander in BF2 the game crashes. I tried some others tutorials that uses ollydbg. This tutorials are for Demo versions of BF and is very difficult to understand how to find a multilvl pointer with olly. If I could make the Cheatengine work that would be awesome. Please i need heeeeelp with Bf2 and if i you help me to solve my problem i will make a full tutorial how to hack in Bf2!!!!
