Cheat Engine

I just recently downloaded cheat engine on my computer but have had it on a few others. But this keeps happening, every time I open cheat engine it closes within a few minutes without me closing it. Is this a bug for every body or just me. If it can be fixed could you tell me and how to do so I can fix it.

No its not vista. Im using a copy of XP. But this never happened with the other downloads on my other computers.

No, when I open it it stays open for 1.5 minutes. When I try and start finding addresses is when it closes. It just closes but doesn't shut off my computer. Its weird and hard to explain.

Is it doing this on one game or everything?
If it is just one game then it is detecting it running and closes it.

No games. I go to open it to prepare for a game and then it closes. Its very frustrating.

Of course I uninstalled and re-installed. I tried it four times. Maybe DB knows what's wrong.
