I Dont understand the diffrence from double and float. Can someone explain it to me?

Floats and doubles are number variables which can contain differing sizes and accuracies. So for Java we see that:
A Double is a number that is between -1.7^308 and 1.7^308 with 14 significant figures of accuracy.
A Float is similar to double but it ranges from -3.4^38 to 3.4^38
