Recently, Iv gotten in to C++, and i was going to buy Teach Your Self C++ in 21 days, which i saw at my local barnes&Noble.....anyone reccemond it? Forget the one with the compiler. its Dev C++ and it sucks. waste of money.

just download Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition:

Use Visual C++ 6.0

Why use outdated software? Just get the Express edition. Also C++ Primer Plus is a great book.
