Delphi isn't a stepping stone to C# or C++.

Delphi/C#/C++ are all high-level languages, none is better than the other.

i learned .net and then i switched to delphi after my programs were doing 40k VM usage.

i can honestly say that the vb -> delphi transition was simple and i had a much smoother time than most people.

i dont regret VB because VB and Delphi share ideas and components Rolling Eyes

im gonna get flamed for this Confused

All UI toolkits have the same components. VB is weird and icky. Delphi is not.

first click your form then look at your properties window (default location is on the bottom right) then search for where you can give your program an icon and make sure that your picture is in icon format.
