I don't think it can max out TF2.
I mean, 64 bit DDR2 interface?
80 stream processing unit, 8 texture units...
It's definitely not for gaming. Just watching some movies. |
At 1280x1024, sure. | (Which is my resolution)
EDIT:
Also, which one would you recommend from that list?

Just get a 240. It runs cool, it's not overpowered, it can play light games like a champ, and you'll be able to have the possibility of moving to slightly larger resolutions if you want to. DDR2 for graphics cards is infinitely inferior to GDDR3. The 5450 is a high def video playback card, not a gaming card. You'll see not a single improvement from your current integrated to it.

Can you spend 70 Euro?
yes > 5670, 5570 for lower power draw
No > GT 240, you would have to wait since is a pre-order unless you can buy it from somewhere else for the same price. if you hate waiting, 4670.

It isn't euros, jeeze guys learn what a euro is and what a GBP is. But yeah I can spend 70 pounds, but even if I wanted the GT 240 it'd cost £74.25 all together with postage and shit. Lemme add up the costs of the others.
Aight so I checked my wallet and I have exactly £72.50
Buuut, postage and packaging will cost more ontop of that, (about 4 pound more if I get one of the 70 quid ones) but I'm almost 90% sure I'm getting some more money soon and I'm pretty sure my Mum told me she'd help me out a bit if I need some more money.
So I'll probably end up with about £82.50, and my Mum'll give me a bit more if needed.

Sorry bro, i can't remember more than 10 currency in my brain.
Anyway, unless you have a special need for nvidia card ( nothing, you can't use the CUDA core, too weak for physX), and you can spend more, then clearly get the 5670 because it better by few more fps and err, DX11that your card barely will run it and eyefinity so you can hook up 3 screen for massive e-peen

Aint got room for more screens, nevermind the money for more. Uh, 'DX11 that your card barely will run it'? You're talking about my integrated rite?
Also I have to preorder the 5670?

By i mean that, i mean even thought the 5670 is DX 11 ready, you won't get any enjoyable FPS on a DX11 game at higher resolution (anything higher 1280x1024) eventhought there are barely any DX11 games anyway
Funny how no one mention

Funny how no one mention | 77.24 alltogether for a 5570
EDIT:
Which means I need £4.74 from Mum until I get the rest of the money I'm due.

Planning on running that on a 300w power supply? Good luck.

Max draw: 69W
same as GT 240, just how many bullshit can you pull?
edit: actually, even lower.
Code: |
This smaller die brings load power down to 61W, and idle power down to 14W.

I don't think it can max out TF2.

80 stream processing unit, 8 texture units...
It's definitely not for gaming. Just watching some movies. | TF2 is not a demanding game whatsoever. My integrated HD 3200 can max it at low resolutions. I guarantee a 5450 performs much better than a 3200. |
Maybe medium settings, but you definitely won't be maxing it. | Well, I did. I don't know why people always come to this forum asking for high powered computers to play "games like TF2," when TF2 doesn't require a powerful computer. I could play on medium on my Celeron D and GeForce FX 5200, I believe a modern processor and a 3200 (or 5450) can max it. In fact, I don't just believe, I know.

Because Valve games are mostly CPU bound, unless you want to play it at max with full AA and such, i played TF2 on my 5200 with p4 3.0ghz, fucking 3minute load time and 20fps isn't fun.
