the space doesnt reflects the light
but the lught can go through it x_x gosh , and you are calling me dumb and pointing out stupid arguments
reflection needs distortien , the light isnt reflected in the space so you can see it , the lights moves through the space in a radial motion arround the light sources without being reflected.
thats why the space is called also the empty because is nothing

it cant go through it because theres nothing to reflect it off.
if you want to use that logic, then i guess you can say air is the absence of light too.
i mean technincally, all we see is the reflection of objects, not air......
all the planets, all the stars, every galaxy is part of space, they arnt seperate. they are 1.
we just use different names to seperate each object.
but its still part of space reguardless of how you look at it.
again, black holes = example of absence of light. no light can escape from it, and no light is emmited from it.
but in space, any particle can reflect light.
the only reason why its dark is because only a small tiny percentage of it is actual physical matter.
also, i dont think you understand that by the fact that you are acknowledging the fact that light can travel through space and bounce off objects means that it does reflect light.
therefore, space isnt the absence of light.
and again, space has only a small tiny percentage of matter...
the rest is energy.

I'm not getting involved with this argument, but I would like to point out that in theory the universe is infinite so technically there is no 100%. So planet's can't really be 4%.

i switched subject to his question. not yours.
i used air as a physical example for your arguement.
please explain that one?
its invisible, light passes through it. its not dark because there are other objects reflecting the light.
same thing with space. if you just have an empty area, of course its going to be dark, theres nothing to reflect the light, yet when you get near a planet/star/dust cloud/whatever, you see the light.
its there. it doesnt mean that there is no light, it just means that it isnt reflecting off anything.

Nonono. I'm just saying the Universe is infinite so there is no 100%. So planets and stars and things like that can't make up a percent.

the real darkness is the dark matter they are the one responsible to reflect light and black holes aren't the absence of light they are just powerful stars that die because of the tremendous gravity of it i mean it sucks it self and it becomes more powerful and the reason the space is dark to us is because of something like this

although it can be argued that space consists of dark matter which was bizzarely discovered in italy a few months back.

didnt read all but just to inform.. You can see stars because they shine BECAUSE they are lightend up by suns not because they produce light lol...
