This would make more sense. What I think you did was simply take a screenshot of when you were playing this game on a pokemon emulator. This picture is just an example of how easy it is to do so.

The quality is different because I had to stretch the second one from a smaller official picture.

I just downloaded the rom. Below is a few screenshots of me playing ruby, making a character, etc.
