It's not useless. Personally, after switching to two monitors, I can hardly use a single monitor. I just feel really restricted. |
After using three monitors, i never went back.
Also, don't you hate it when your relative call monitor a computer? |
Not just a relative, anyone. What I think is worse is when people try to seem smart by calling the entire computer the CPU.

| Well, you can run source games in "fake-fullscreen" wich means you run it windowed but without the border with the buttons.

The solution would be to use a fake full screen, but it'd decrease your performance and not many games/apps support this. Sure you could try hacking it to work with all the games. Having a true full screen gives total control over the screen for DirectX, so the screen won't be shared with others and thus archiving better performance.
EDIT: ah, someone already mentioned this, didn't see the 2nd page :p

Yep, just tried it and it works perfectly. However, downside is you can't alt+tab.
