I used this site for learning Delphi basics, you can use it for more Wink.

http://www.riddlersoft.com/

This is especially good becaues its a VIDEO tutorial that goes into GREAT detail, which is PERFECT for noobs! It also seems to have facts only, so it won't talk about retarted things, that aren't correct. Infact once I had a book that said Java was intended for toasters, aftering brining it up on the forums, the idea was... Owned.... Getting back on topic, I checked the facts on this with another tutorial, everything seems good. However I haven't looked at the more complicated parts of this tutorial (as its quite long plus you gotta pay), but it seems good so far. If anyone else has posted about this, I didn't copy you, I simply googled "Delphi video tutorials" and came back with this great url. Unfortunately you have to pay for most sections, but its good for starting.

www.3dbuzz.com

Suggested by Uzeil, so it must be good.

Heheheh, lets just stop talking about...IT... I read it in A BOOK, okay!? Its a general fact that books tend to be reliable for correct facts! And since I burned, my only book, then froze the ashes, then fed it to LAG MONSTORRR so I gotta learn something, so this is what I got, and I like it, so I thought I'd share it with the rest of you Smile.

EDIT: you know, it would make good toast Exclamation

Now if only my lag monstorrr script worked heheh, then all noobs would be fleeing, and Java WOULD BE INTENDED FOR TOASTERS!! MWAHHAhAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAH.

Erm anyways, your site is good, but a quick scan doesn't show any DELPHI tutorials!! Sad

AND EVERYBODY knows you can't catch lag monstorrr with anything but Delphi, and if my script were to work - we'd need a lag monstorrr to compile it!

Look at the last time it updated, it doesn't look like anything else is coming.

Just get a book.

Bad news, its not as professional as I once thought, tutorial #3-02 (The Crt Unit) in the Turbo Pascal section doesn't seem to be the correct one! It talks about assigning a value to a variable rather than what "the crt unit". So if anyone would like to write a tutorial on this, that'd be helpful for everybody (make sure its clear!). I would write one, except, I'm fairly new to Pascal, so I don't know enough to make a proper tutorial Sad.

I don't get what it does. I just know that you can't use the clrscr command without it. And I find the clrscr very nice since free pascal shows all the text that has happened before (i.e run programA then programB, the text from programA is still there).
