Probably allows the browser to use moar than 3GB of RAM (like a browser would ever use that anyway).

I thought IE 64-bit runs better on Windows 64-bit OS than IE 32-bit...

It's not good for anything, just like the 32-bit version.

The reason they made it 64 bit because its in a 64 BIT OPERATING SYSTEM. How about you guys think logically about the decision to but a program in 64 bit in a 64 bit os.

We all know that, except for the OP...
But seriously, a browser doesn't really need the 64bit advantages that much.
Possibly if it's running O3D Games. But other then that not really.

Yes, but what is it that makes it so much better? Its like giving your tv a thicker edge around just for the fun of it. The TV looks new, but it is the same old shit...

It's not even good for that when you can use a batch file to do the same thing.
Code: | echo user anonymous > command.dat
echo hash >>command.dat
echo cd /pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest/win32/en-US/ >> command.dat
echo mget *.exe >> command.dat
echo yes >> command.dat
echo bye >> command.dat
ftp -n -s:command.dat releases.mozilla.org
del command.dat |
