May I ask.
What's the point if there are many hand held touch screen phones such as the BlackBerry, IPhone etc...
Although it would be cool to make your own so good luck.
Also what software will you be running?
Linux? XP?

I'm really interested in the power source for all this.
Maybe do a quick page to document what you do towards it?

That's just my assumption...

Driver support?
I suppose he could run Vista or 7 (according to their minimum requirements), but I don't think it would entail much of an experience. Linux would probably work out better..

Those are handheld phones... This is a PC. It has everything a computer has. It is basically a computer. Except mobile.
Also... It has atleast twice as much power as the iPhone... 3x more RAM...
and the BlackBerry... well, that does not compare.

The power source will be either a direct line from the wall, or lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

Like someone said, ill either use a USB (Linux) or i'll just preinstall the hard drives with Linux on it. Also, if i didn't already state, i'm using VERY VERY small hard drives. Smaller than laptop hard drives. (in size, not capacity.)

All the VIA drivers run on windows and Linux, so i am not worried about that.
Thanks everyone

Whats the size of the hard drive? And how will it be encased? Where will you get all of the proper drivers?
Sorry, but this is really starting to interest me.

I will eihter do a 1.8" hard drive... or MicroSD/SD flash storage. If i do go for a SD... It will be very small!
The mobo and things will be mounted onto a metal board, the metal board will be mounted on the back of a touch screen, and ill get some casing to put on the back of it.
What other drives will i need besides VIA drivers and touch screen drivers... Which come with the motherboard and touchscreen.
Also, i may need to make my own drivers for the high-resolution micro camera.
--- Thanks a lot for asking these questions and taking an interest. It helps me plan things out.

I really don't know too much about the Pico-ITX hardware or touch screens, but I would try to find a touch screen that's as compatible across different platforms as possible, just to keep your options open.
Not too much to add, you may as well go SD if you find the case to be cramped at all (although it's good you could get the 1.8" drives for free). What's this about a high-resolution micro camera?

Ah, i hope someone would get interested in this...
Well, i headed over to this awesome place called http://www.sparkfun.com/ ...
and it seems they sell Cameras! ( http://forum.cheatengine.org/posting.php?mode=quote&p=3764586 )
The one i was going to look, was this one...
I have contacted someone to assist me in making a design so it can be plugged into the computer. It is going to be difficult, but maybe not too expensive,

Doubt he would use touchscreen as a keyboard. The PX10000G allows for up to 4 USB 2.0 ports, along with a PS2 keyboard/mouse connection.
EDIT:
Wait, localhost. Are you going to make a project page for this? This isn't an everyday project.
