for somereason i cant download .rar but zips are fine its strange i used to be able to use rar as well. does anyone know a solution and if so help me with it cause im kinda dumb

turn off your antivirus/firewall and try download them again. or change the settings with your firewall, it might not be letting you do download that certain file type for some stupid reason.

ROFL Stupid comments? I had this problem before. I couldn't download them either. Everytime I pressed 'Run' It just reblanked and kept showing the same window. When I pressed 'Save' the same thing happened. I downloaded WinRaR with help from the forum, and I never encountered that problem again.
So shut the fuck up. I know what I'm talking about.

lmfao dude you know jack shit then. it doesn't stop you if you don't have a program to open a certain file type, it just won't let you open it. you can still download anything you want freely. and trust me i've tried this before, and darkness914 probably has winrar or w.e.

guys chill stay on topic plz ok this is what happens i try to download them i click open the first time and a wep page pops up made quick and then auto xs out n its a white page. n then it goes to open or save etc n save does same thing

Im not talking about opening/ extracting them. Im just posting a suggestion on what he should try doing to fix his problem. I had a similar, perhaps even the same exact problem, and downloading WinRaR solved it. I don't think he has it, because I didn't and the same shit happened to me.
To Darkness: Post what you were trying to download, and post what age group you are in. Then, possibilities will open up.
Age Groups:
A = 10 - 12
B = 13 - 15
C = 15 - 18+
Fuck it, he probably stopped looking at this.
Age groups help to suggest if your parents blocked something/ your internet browser has blocks, and it suggests that the file is a virus. Also, stating your age on IE Yahoo also creates blocks. (Only if searching from Yahoo! I believe.)
- Check your antivirus too, that most likely is the problem.
- Try WinRaR anyway. www.WinRaR.com (could be something else, I havent had to d/l for a while.)
- Im out of suggestions.
