XP is completely stable when it's configured correctly and not loaded up with a bunch of shit.

I have Vista, I've been using it since the beta stages for well over a year now, and I hate it. Same with two of my best friends. The case with Vista seems to be "hey it works for me, although it doesn't for most people, so I think I'll push it on everyone, even though Microsoft themselves publicly admitted Vista was a failure"

I never had problems with either of them. Confused

Granted Vista was pretty slow in games back during beta, the drivers are much better now and performance is close, if not better in some cases.

Because of how bad of a failure Vista was, of course they want to start working on something successful that might actually sell.

It's not even out yet. It's probably not even real. If it were, it's early in development. Don't get your hopes up, you'll be stuck with vista for another 6 or 7 years.

Speed has decreased from Os to Os.
2000 is the fastest, but not as compatible as xp
Xp is fast and has similar compatibility to vista...
