I got some problem with my new ownbuilt computer:

# - I started it and it all seemed to work great, very fast computer and I installed windows 7 RC right away.
Installed avira antivir and after while I was installing comodo firewall my computer got a bluescreen (BSOD). I noticed I got a BSOD after download abit faster and installed some programs, so I decided to try Windows vista even tho Windows 7 worked great on my last comp.

I got BSOD while installing vista and couldn't install Windows 7 either.
After awhile it worked to install Windows 7 but I still get BSOD sometimes randomly while installing stuff or downloading.

Computer:
- i5 750 (original clock for now at 2,66gHz, quadcore)
- MSI 65 (1156)
- MSI GTX 260 (nvidia)
- Corsair 1333mHz 2*2GB
- Corsair 650W
- Nexus case and fans
- Noctua SE2 (with the included 2 fans)

Anyone know how to fix this annoying BSOD problem, the computer is 100% new and
I built it myself.

I gonna try memtest 86 and see what happens I just need to borrow my mums comp to burn a CD for it.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Humper

Update the mobo to the latest bios and manually set the speed and timings for your ram.

uh, look at their website? format a usb drive as a boot device.

many new motherboards have it built straight in for that matter. you can start it right from the bios.

Do what slovach said, and get your mobo / memories checked. MSI makes bad motherboards, they really do.

Okey so I got it all working, I needed to fix the t1 and t2 on the memories and change the memory volting and some minor more changes and now it works great.

Yes safko MSI used to make crap MB but now their acually pritty good which made my choose them for my next (current) build.

No, MSI used to make crap MB, they still make crap MB and they will probably continue making crap MBs for a good while as well. MSI really sucks, there's no question about it. If there would be a failure on the motherboard, see if you can't return it & get your money back. then buy a real motherboard instead, not some crap shit half-functional random board from the lousy company called MSI

I'm working at a computer store, I bet like, 75%+ of the faulty motherboards we get in are from MSI. Go buy a good motherboard instead. ASUS for example.

Sorry but thats complite bullshit :/

Yes the AMD boards are still crap but the i5/i7 and i7 boards are actually great. Sure you might havn't tried them yet but then don't come with some bullshit here..

If you come with some acual proof I'll might trust you.

And you seriously don't think thats staged?
God, get some sense into you.

Can someone then explain how me and my friend with the new i5 boards works great. My i5 750 is overclocked to 3,7gHz at the moment, I havn't tried any higher because my memory is abit slow (1333mHz) so at the moment Im at 1484mHz.

Havn't recived any problems at all, its all working great, you guys just got some old bullshit. Yes i know they used to suck but well, they don't now.
