How do I cheat?

3g. Now use Search in all files (Do not include subfolders) and change the following names.
nextscanbutton >>> Whatever57
scanvalue >>> Whatever58
scanvalue2 >>> Whatever59
ScanType >>> Whatever60
VarType >>> Whatever61
newscan >>> Whatever62
ScanText >>> Whatever63
syndiv.com/ce >>> Maplesea.com (Anything! Laughing )
After i changed all the name, for some reason when i open up cheatengine.dpr, some icon are gone. the save & load button picture are left blank, i try to search this on the forum, but didn't find any solution.
a screenshot will be posted if needed to understand what i am saying

I actually went over it again, and i found out that it isnt STEP 3G that's causing the problem, it's step 3f. now my question is, when u change the value of those hex, do u search for whole words in -Actual search & replacement- or does it not matter?
