I'm using VB 6.0

I'm trying to make a program so when you push a button it will delete a few files from Program Files...

Can someone teach me how to do this? Embarassed

Does the program only contain a button? In which case you don't need any GUI, in which case you should be making it in assembly! >=D

Which would be, by Microsoft's current VB naming convention, VB 1998. See how less attractive that sounds?

most people *everyone* in this forum hates vb. i myself know some vb...but am too lazy to tell you. its bad enough learning vb but atleast try the code yourself. vb is the simplest language...

Thats because you have to install .NET Framework junk....
You can get it here:

Here this includes the source, it will check and see if a file exists and then it will confirm the delete.
It deletes from a adress based on Text1.Text



The Extension 'rar' was deactivated by an board admin, therefore this Attachment is not displayed.
