Cheat Engine

well im not a computer noob, but honestly...

i have no idea how to get the new updated ce source... ive downloaded countless ce sources, all WITHOUT driver.dat, and i think i need it to compile a UCE

can anyone tell me how to use the CVS, or post a link to the ce source that DOES have driver.dat

um.. doesnt the 'CVS server' thread right above this post explain it well enough? ill try to recap but its not gonna sound much different.

-----------------
-download and install the prog from http://www.tortoisecvs.org/
-hit WIN+R or go to start>run
-type cmd and press enter
-in the dos box you just opened, cd to the dir you installed it to.
-then type:
cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/CECVS login
-(the password is: cvsanon)
-you will be returned to the prompt as if nothing happened. now type:
cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/CECVS checkout "Cheat Engine Delphi"
-do not close the command window until it is finished and has returned you to the prompt again.
------------------

now in your tortoise directory there will be a subdir entitled "Cheat Engine Delphi" containing that latest source.

sigh i got the login part, but when it says CVS Password: i cant type anything in there unless when i press enter, it says invalid password, etc...iono why i cant type anything wen it comes to that, please help

after you typed login. hit enter and nothing else. then when it asks for a password just type the password regardless of if it shows that your typing or not. because it doesnt show the password.

I've tried to connect to cvs server but seems like i have some difficulty to access it.

Below is the connection log (wincvs)

cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:\CECVS login
Logging in to :pserver:[email protected]:2401:\CECVS
cvs [login aborted]: connect to heijnen1.demon.nl:2401 failed: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

***** CVS exited normally with code 1 *****

It exited with code 1 after i type in the password: cvsanon

Could someone kindly upload the latest source (or any version from 5.2.82 and above) to a usable host and post a link here for download? Thank you in advance.

PS: Please don't flame me for begging Sad

i did search around the forum and couldn't find any latest source for download. (Either cannot download or the source is too old)

i dont think thats the problem =/ / and \ both work perfectly.. try using the cvs server and steps are in the stickyXD
