I know what causes problem! It's dbghelp.dll in win64 folder! (btw i use Windows 7 64bit) Just delete it and the problem is fixed! I wanted to give you url of the video but i can't because website said like that Sad (actually that is for cheat engine 7.5 lol)

Interesting fnd, thanks!
I'll try this over the weekend.
I've been getting these random Access Violation errors, too.
There's been no CE release for a while, I guess that DLL is dated.

the dll is too new.
It will terminate any app that loads it when on windows 7. (microsoft's way to force people to upgrade)

(Win10) DBVM Access Violation error ...
For me, it was a combination of issues. I had installed Hyper-V on my win10 machine and this made DBVM defunct and no longer working. I did not know this until later when trying to use CE.

I uninstalled the Hyper-V options on my machine and this did not help. I tried a lot of things to get it to work, including suggestions from various threads here on the forum, and it just would not work again.

Here is what I had to do to get it working again.

== I had to turn off, then re-Enable 'VT' in the bios for some reason. It was not on properly?.. or maybe my bios has a bug in it?. I am not sure on that one, but VT was now detected by the OS properly after I did this.

== I also had to .. after even after completely uninstalling Hyper-V.. it was not fully shut off. Some of it was still active and hiding in the background. I had to open Powershell as administrator and run the command...

Stop-Service -Name vmms
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName "Microsoft-Hyper-V-All" -NoRestart
Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux
dism.exe /online /disable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform /norestart

- This stops Hyper-V temporarily so someone can truly get rid of it by deleting its folder...
The following (hidden) folder had to be deleted after turning OFF hyper-V with Powershell ...
'C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\HYPER-v'

FYI: Windows will not let you delete this folder if it is still active, even partially.

== I also had for some reason to turn ON hyper-threading in the bios. Why it would not work until I did this, I do not know.

== Lastly, I then had to go back into Cheat Engine and re-enable the kernel mode debugger via the [Make Possible] button in the debugger settings section... then re-boot the PC.

After all this, it finally worked... However, it stopped working again after a re-boot.

- Maybe this helps other out there to get it working again. Some games require DBVM instead of the other debuggers, or will will otherwise crash as soon as you attache a debugger.. now it all works for me again.
