Cheat Engine

Is there a way to use cheat engine in the free version of Starcraft:Broodwar? The one that Blizzard lets you download as a way to promote the "Remastered" version?

Specifically I'm talking about hacking mana/psi. I would love to play a game of Starcraft where I'm a Dark Archon against max allied computer opponents and my only weapon is unlimited mind control. The cheat "The gathering" doesn't work because it gives the opponents the same ability and the problem with making a "use map settings" game with a trigger that does that is by the time I've made the game it's boring and I don't want to play it.

I really just want to play any melee game where I can mind control unlimited times.

Of course. Find the mineral/gas amount and change it.
I suppose the same goes for mana/psi. Find it and freeze it.
