I found a base address for the value of wood for Terraria which is "Terraria.exe"+004EA4C4 but if I try to add the address manually after restarting my game the value randomizes. When I found the pointer that gave me the base address that value didn't get randomized. I'm a beginner so I got no idea what's going on so can anyone help me?

It's intended that the addresses do change. You have to find a reliable pointer to use. Terraria is a game that has been extensively hacked as such there are many videos on YouTube demonstrating techniques on how you can hack this target.

Just a few to get you started. Although, I would ighly recommend that you start with the Cheat Engine tutorial so you can at least understand the very basics. There's no point trying to run before you can walk because you will run into problems shortly on your journey in becoming a hacker.
