at least with 7.5 it now seems to be at least trying to get somewhere compared to 7.4. but i officially give up on trying myself. i haven't found any post anywhere with a solution.
using ubuntu

Can't allocate memory. now instead of just Failed to allocate memory, ceserver gives me these instead on 7.5

I think some messages related to the injection might be missing

also before you go too deep into the rabbit hole: is the target process a native linux game or does it run under proton?
If under proton you can launch CE in the same proton environment as the game and use mono from there

it cant allocate memory, i try to do anything that requires allocating memory and it fails

when i try to allocate memory manually (skipped through most of the libs)

if you compile the one from the 7.5 release it should be fine yes. (compile linux debug, not the android ones)

(also, if you just need to alloc memory: mainmenu:network->allocate memory without extension injection)

no my problem with 7.4 is i get Failed to allocate memory when i try to run cheat tables that use monodatacollector. when i try,

Failure injecting the MonoDatacollector library:Force load module failed:Allocation error

it crashed my pc twice yesterday while i was trying to get it to run

same thing when i try to inject monodatacollector manually

Don't use 7.4 with ceserver 7.5 that's not going to work for multiple reasons
It also misses the dynamic configuration setting which gives you memory allocation option without .so injection. You do have to check it there

Also, does your game's process end with .exe if so, do not use ceserver. Load CE inside proton/wine. (Launch proton/wine with the correct prefix parameters so that CE can see the process)

i just replaced the libceserver-extension and i still get error.
tried both with the files how we left them and with the files put back to normal,
