How do I cheat?

I remember a few years back it used to work for candy crush and other games, but now it doesn't seem to work.. Maybe I don't know how to use Cheat Engine properly? Confused

Haven't heard of that game or played it in a decade, they might've changed a lot of things. I remember as a kid long time ago doing this for iPhone you could use either iGuardian (a type of cheat engine, jailbroken device of course) or get a tweak that gave free purchases. I never tried it on other platforms but if you're having problems changing it what could of happened was:

1. They decided to add a lot of the important values you want to server side which renders the only possibility of changing it with a packet editor, but that's still not guaranteed and packet editing is not really for beginners either.

2. The values are no longer as simple, they could be encrypted and big too so you can only do changed/unchanged, or increased/decreased (if you're feeling confident) and you're just getting the display value.

If doing 2 you find it and it does not work still, then 1 is your answer, maybe getting an older version of Candy Crush will solve that.
