I've been trying to initialize the speedhack on Call of Duty's Infinite Warfare campaign and everytime it gives me and error that says "Failure enabling speedhack. (DLL injection failed): The injection thread took longer than 10 seconds to execute. Injection routine not free"

I'm using cheat engine 7.4 and have tried both the 64bit version and the 32bit version.

I also tried the forcedinjection_i386 version and tried turning off vsync or sync every frame.

Please look into this for me.

copy https://github.com/cheat-engine/cheat-engine/blob/master/Cheat%20Engine/bin/autorun/alternateSpeedhack.LUA to your autorun folder. i forgot to add it to the 7.4 release

Thank you for replying. I don't know if i'm using the code wrong.

i tried executing the script and also opening up cheat engine with it, but it didn't work.

did you copy it to the autorun folder of CE?

Tried ticking the speedhack checkbox afterwards?

Yes I managed to place it in the autorun folder.

When I connect the cheat engine to the game and then run speedhack, it does appear to be checked and it no longer gives me the notification that the speedhack took longer than ten seconds, but the game freezes.

Sometimes I am able to turn on the speedhack with a keybind without the game freezing but it has no effect on the game speed.

sounds like createthread is blocked.
Go to memview-tools-patchscanner and select ntdll, kernel32 and kernelbase and do a scan on those

then if there are patches rightclick them and undo the patch

then try speedhack again

I connected the cheat engine to the game and opened up the memory viewer.

I opened up the tools and scanned for patches and clicked the modules that you told me to.

I reset all the patches to the original and re-attempted the speedhack and still got the same results.

The game either freezes or the speedhack has no effect.

At this point if I'm doing something wrong, I believe its a lost cause. Thanks for the aid though.
