I play a game that comes with a separate client called 'offline mode' used for practicing with units offline, basically it is a standalone single player game.
There are commands you can enter when in the game such as ".help" or ".time" that will adjust the day/night cycle etc.

I am wondering if CE is capable of helping me find potentially hidden commands that arent listed in the command list? For example, I think there may be 'secret' test commands available that I could enter but I first need to find out what text to enter.

If CE is capable of this would someone be able to let me know what feature i'd need to learn to use, so that I may try to search online to figure it out?

The first thing I'd try is finding the memory address of the text field, find what accesses it when you press enter, and tracing that function call until you find where they compare the string in the address to the commands available in the game. Then look at all the commands that get compared against it.
