How do I cheat?

Yes Yes, probably an age old topic, but would like to understand how it works.

So recently I paid someone to add resources to my account, the person added 750Bn in ress, it wasn't a scam, I still have my account, didn't get banned, so it really did work.

I'd like to understand how it was down.

Who knows? Maybe they:
    - run a bot farm and transferred the resources;
    - exploited an error in the game's programming associated with selling, trading, or farming;
    - found something client sided that could still be cheated;
    - played your game normally until you naturally had those resources; or
    - any of the other thousands of ways to get ahead in a video game.


I'm sure you can ask them the nature of their advantage and they might tell you more.
