I have been dealing with crypto for years too, but I never really put a lot of money investing in it. I have made a couple of thousand, but that is about it.

I am nowhere near $100k, having the vision and the guts to hold through all the volatility is really commendable.

Believable, yes. But it is really extraordinary. Not something most people can pull off. |

I do take it into consideration.

But I also take into consideration the cost of risk and other investment opportunities.

For example pretty much all cryptos right now are huge risk investments for short trading and bad investments for long term. (Since price is still up from what we should expect in a couple of months)

Cashing out at $32k on the first bounce after $40k took into consideration:

- The amount of capital I had invested

- The overall profit that I already had at the cashout (around 180%)

- The profit prospect of moving that capital to a less risk investment (5~7% monthly)

- The risk vs profit evaluation for btc going up or down

Even with this pump, I still consider it a smart investment move cashing out at $32.

I might have gotten more profit if I stayed, but the risk of going under was greater.

Cheers, I sold some ETH and DOGE a couple of days ago too.

Not much tho, I cashed out big when I made this thread. Right now I am just trading with play money.

It did though.

Even though it peaked at 60k, I made a good profit and continued trading. Right now it has been bouncing between 30k and 45k and it looks like it is going down.

Selling all the BTC didn't mean cashing out to spend it all. I just reallocated those assets into other investments.

Most of it went into my stocks portfolio and I still do some crypto trading nowdays. I do hodl 5m SHIB just for the memes tho ( I got in the first month it went live )

Aged even better. Good getting out at a good time, shit's falling apart. (So are stocks though, but whatever. Buy some metals though.)
