I have been stuck on step 6 for a while now, every time I find what writes to the address and find a pointer, when I change the pointer the value doesn't stay the same when I freeze it as 5000 (1388 Hex). So I keep digging from that pointer to find what accesses it (so I can find a base pointer), but every time I get a glimpse of those addresses it crashes. This also happens when I do it for games. I understand that in the Tut it states to find what accesses the address at the very beginning but it shows hundreds of results and none so far seem to be it, so I use what writes to the address instead, because pointers write to addresses.
