Hi, I am sure there are a lot of gaming laptops that fits your budget which is 800-900 USD. It may actually depend only on the specifications you might be needing. You may want to look for a specific brand or manufacturer. Mine is a Dell laptop with w/ GeForce GT 525M graphics card which is also good for gaming. There are a lot to choose from and its even cheaper than what you can afford.

If you have the patience to wait til Black Friday / Cyber Monday rolls around there are always great deals you can find on laptops. I snagged my current laptop last year for just under $700, which has a Geforce GT 745M in it and does great with everything I've thrown at it so far.
Full specs of the laptop are:
- Intel Core i7-4700MQ @ 2.40GHz
- 8GB RAM (GDDR3 PC312800 @800MHz x2 4096MB)
- 1TB HDD (SATA / 600)
- Nvidia GeForce GT 745M (2gigs dedicated vram)
Full 17 inch laptop with full numpad. No complaints at all about it either. Only thing it does not have is a port for a microphone using the standard green/pink wires. But not a huge deal.

Exactly. If there is no hurry, one should wait for black friday and cyber monday to avail great deals on almost every product. And laptops are available for great discounts and one can get high specs and features laptop for less.

Gaming laptop?
That's a contradiction right there.
You either game or travel.

Yes, there are many cheap gaming laptops that are available for around $900 and can also deal with various good games. For around $900, you can get an 8GB RAM, i5 and even i7 processor and NVIDIA GTX graphics card. For storage, you can get min. 256GB of SSD storage and if you go with HDD, it can be even more like 512GB or 1TB.
Some of the good gaming laptops under $1000 are Dell G5 15, HP Omen 2020, ASUS ROG Strix G15, etc...

Yes you can buy any laptop by which you can play your games, but I do not think you can buy a gaming laptop with this budget.

i think wth around 800 USD, you can absolutely obtain a sufficient gaming rig.
If you want to maximise performance, look for the best GPU with that budget.
lf it doesnt need to be a laptop, then logical increment is a valueable resource
