He searches for the value "0x015C9C90-0x0" which is just 015C9C90 in hex. So how does he find something completely different?
(You can see a picture on 4:57 in the official Cheat Engine Tutorial Step 8 Video. Sorry for not providing a picture, I can't post url's.)
It's been bugging me for three days already and I can't find an answer to that.

Also, why does the debugger in some tutorials show "esi" and in some "rsi"?

Edit: The reason i am asking this is because it doesn't work for me. I just find the same address again.

there is a difference between address and value

the value of the memory location is 0x015C9C90
the address that holds that value is not 0x015C9C90 , it is 0x165ea28

so when he searches for 0x015C9C90, he finds 0x165ea28 (containing the value he searched for)
and this also means 0x165ea28 points to 0x015C9C90.

or am i wrong?

correct

address 0x165ea28 contains the 8 byte value 0x015C9C90
You can read that as :"0x165ea28 points to 0x015C9C90"

the best analogy to pointers is someone pointing to a street and the offset is the house number (and counting starts at 0)
