People who delete their posts after getting help/answers are marked with it. It lets others know if it's even worth their time to respond to the user as the topic will potentially end up with a deleted main post/question after it's answered.

'Delete the first post', especially a post which ask for helps from peoples, it has shown and act like you 'using' the peoples just for your needs. In other side, it also shown you are typically a people who want to keep the answer for a question just for yourself and not let the people's known event the answer has come from the peoples, in other word is 'stingy'.

Man, the subject of that topic is more understandable than my question itself cuz I didn't know what I was even talking about, all I knew was that I was writing bunch of words... I know I could have edited it but I didn't really think of it back then.
The question got deleted here

What I wrote is not for you only. Anyhow, by delete the first topic post especially after got the answer from peoples is look not good. That causing peoples should be thinking bad things.
We usually don't think make something wrong by delete our post, but if we had read completely forum rules then we should be thinking different.
Not only delete posts matter, sometimes the forum members ask for help about anything in relation hack, cheat, scripting or whatever. Then when we give or solve their problem, and they just left away without we know if our solutions help them already. Like talk to the wall.
In other case, sometime the members ask for something and need for solutions, but when we try to give them solutions or alternatives, they're ignoring, even they re-answer with which is surprising answers; even answer with the things that are different from what they ask.
The conclusion, every forum members has their own type and characteristic. Anyhow, with those, indirectly they show how their personalities.

Believe it or not, there are people out there who learn from problems, mistakes or experiences of the ones before them.
When you delete a post, you essentially destroy the context of the entire discussion that follows.
Just don't.
Fix typos, remove non-essential stuff, add more if you need to.
But, by all means, please refrain for blatantly deleting it.
It's 'art' for those that follow us.

I saw that pretty often, like more than 50% of the posts I saw where like just getting ignored (at least that's what I see)
