Hey so I'm playing this game right and I have gone and found the right address for the money value that I want to change. Whenever I get more money in the game, the value at this address I've found will change. However, when I go to change the value in cheat engine, the money value in the game does not change and the value at this address in cheat engine is no longer synced up with the money value in the game. I have no clue what to do and I feel like there is some cheat engine thing that I could do to actually change the money value in the game. Help would be largely appreciated.

It's probably the wrong address. Try scanning for changed and unchanged

If it's an online game then the reason is the value is server sided and not hackable.

If it's offline then you've found the display value. Do as poster above me suggested.
