| Hey, i installed CE to mod doom eternal. I ran the program and was successful in modding the game, however, pretty soon into playing my game severly dropped frames. Now, almost every game i play on my computer barely gets 20 frames, when 60-100 was never a problem before. When I play a game it says in the task manager that mmemory is at 70-80%, and 30-40% when my computer is idle. I have uninstalled cheat engine and that did not seem to help whatsoever. Please help me!! This program essentially bricked my computer.

| What do you mean restart windows? I have restarted my computer a billion times with no avail. Ill try to do some cleaning. The performance issues started very suddenly after installing and running cheat engine, I doubt it is an issue with the cleanliness of my computer.

Dark Byte is suggesting that it requires cleaning.
(slowdown can come from overheating components throttling back themselves)
Seems to me like you are trying to play games on a PC not meant for gaming.
So, how much RAM do you have what OS do you use?
An OS should never take up 30-40% of your total memory.
Something to think about right there.
The OS will start swapping shit to disk when you don't have enough RAM.
Also, it could be some anti-cheat tool interfering.
I use CE on an hourly basis and I never had such issues.

I doubt you can brick your computer with cheat engine.

I doubt you can brick your computer with anything else than overclocking tools and malware.
And CE is neither one of these.
